What cannot go in a dumpster in Arkansas?

Understand common prohibited and restricted materials—and when to call WI Rentals before loading.

WI Rentals dumpster ready for an approved debris load

Not every material can be placed in a roll-off dumpster. Disposal requirements can vary by material and receiving facility, so customers should describe questionable items before loading. When you are unsure, call WI Rentals for clarification.

Common items that must stay out

Tires

Used or new tires require separate handling. Schedule WI Rentals’ licensed waste tire hauling service instead.

Pressurized tanks

Propane cylinders and other pressurized containers are not accepted in a standard dumpster load.

Flammable materials

Flammable liquids, fuels and aerosols require an appropriate disposal method.

Asbestos

Tested or untested asbestos-containing material must not be placed in the dumpster.

Heavy materials require advance approval

Concrete, dirt and similar dense materials can quickly create an overweight load even when the container is not visually full. Describe the material and estimated amount before scheduling so WI Rentals can determine whether the proposed load is appropriate.

Do not guess about an unfamiliar product

Labels, containers and leftover construction products may not clearly show how the material must be handled. Keep the item out of the dumpster until we can review it. Prohibited materials may create additional handling requirements and charges.

Need tire disposal?

WI Rentals is a licensed Arkansas waste tire hauler under Permit No. 001520, issued by Arkansas Energy & Environment. Read our waste tire disposal guide or call with the type and approximate number of tires.

Ask before loading

Disposal rules and facility acceptance can change. Calling before loading is the safest way to avoid mixing restricted material into an otherwise acceptable load. Visit our frequently asked questions for additional rental information.
